Rice I like

I like rice.

The three main types of rice are short grain (soft, sticky texture), medium grain (tender and moist) and long grain (firmer, free flowing).

Worldwide there are more than 40,000 different varieties of rice.

Rice is the most important food crop in Asia.  It can be cooked whole and served with stir-fries, sauces, and curries, or made into flour, wine, cakes, vinegar, milk, flakes, noodles, paper, and tea.

There are at least a dozen different types of rice to choose from at the grocery store: long-grain, short-grain, white, brown, basmati, instant, converted, whew! Which one is best?

Confused about all the different types of rice available? This will help you choose the right rice for your needs.

Looking at rice is a great blog about rice. Just Hungry is a food blog, established in 2003.

I still like rice.
